Workers' Compensation Manager - Colorado

Introduction Our client, a leading TPA, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Manager to join their growing team! Every day, we support clients in navigating complexity, driving recovery, and delivering outcomes that make a meaningful difference. Overview Jurisdiction: Colorado Location: Hybrid (Denver, CO) Salary: $100-115k How You’ll Make an Impact Lead, coach, and develop a team of workers’ compensation adjusters to ensure high-quality claim handling and performance. (4-6 adjusters.) Oversee claim exposure analysis and resolution strategies across the team’s caseload. Ensure consistent communication with clients, claimants, and stakeholders to drive efficient outcomes. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with client expectations, internal best practices, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and maintain accurate, timely claim documentation and reporting. Client interaction including but not limited to client visitations and round table claims discussions. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day operations of a workers’ compensation claims team handling lost time, indemnity, and litigated files Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to adjusters Conduct file reviews and audits to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance Partner with leadership and clients to improve claims strategies and service delivery Manage team workloads, productivity, and service level expectations Assist with complex or escalated claims as needed Qualifications Required 5+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience Minimum 4+ years of managerial or supervisory experience within claims Strong experience handling Colorado workers’ compensation claims Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills Strong understanding of industry standards, compliance, and claims best practices Proficiency with claims management systems and standard business software Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Canon Recruiting is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
