Key Responsibilities: Welcome Customers: Greet and guide customers as they enter the store, ensuring a friendly and informative shopping environment. Product Expertise: Offer detailed and accurate information about our merchandise, addressing customer questions with confidence. Promote Specials: Inform customers about ongoing discounts and promotions to enhance their shopping experience. Stay Updated: Keep informed about new products, trends, and sales to assist customers effectively and promote additional purchases. Merchandising: Organize and replenish merchandise on shelves to ensure appealing displays and product availability. Handle Transactions: Operate the cash register with precision, accurately processing payments, including cash and credit transactions. Maintain Store Appearance: Help keep the stock room organized and set up attractive merchandise displays while collaborating with team members to ensure a clean store. Inventory Checks: Conduct regular inventory assessments to maintain stock levels and ensure accuracy. Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Team Lead. Store Operations: Engage in the store's opening and closing processes, adhering to operational protocols. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in a Retail Sales Associate role or similar position is preferred, showcasing effective customer engagement. Inventory Knowledge: Familiarity with stock procedures for efficient store management. Math Skills: Basic math skills are essential for transaction accuracy and inventory tracking. Sales Experience: A demonstrated ability to meet sales goals, indicating success in driving sales. Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for building trust and rapport with customers and teammates. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment. Team Player: Experience working collaboratively within a team setting. Professionalism: A reliable, positive attitude and punctuality are vital for this role. Flexible Schedule: Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store needs.
