Maintenance Engineering Supervisor

A leading manufacturing organization in the northwest suburbs is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to lead a technical team and drive equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement across a sophisticated manufacturing operation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineering or maintenance leader who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on. You’ll oversee maintenance and engineering activities, lead capital improvement projects, support the commissioning of new equipment, and work closely with production to improve reliability, capacity, and efficiency. What makes this role interesting: Lead a team of engineers, engineering technicians, and maintenance professionals Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-focused maintenance strategies Lead capital projects from concept through implementation Support the commissioning and integration of new automation and manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues and drive root-cause solutions Work with high-speed, continuous motion, and robotic assembly equipment Partner with production and other technical teams to improve uptime and operational performance Opportunity to make a visible impact on both people and plant performance We’re looking for someone with a B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field and 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, along with experience leading technical teams and projects.
