Job Title Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing Unit Schedule Full Time; Days; 3x12 shifts About the Role Join Bishop Spencer Place, Kansas City’s premier non‑profit Life Care retirement community. This role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by CNAs. Responsibilities Meet with assigned nursing personnel to plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities; oversee activities of assigned nursing assistants. Administer professional nursing services and medication to residents, ensuring services comply with their care plan. Assist with new admissions and discharges. Consult with residents, family members, and physicians to plan care, treatment, and rehabilitation. Administer medication. Visit residents to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status. Notify attending physician and next‑of‑kin of any changes in a resident’s condition. Report problem areas to the RN Supervisor or Clinical Director. Requirements Less than 1 year experience; Licensed Practical Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS); full‑time, day shifts; United States of America.
