Responsibilities and Duties

• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Preparing bills and invoices.
• Onboard New Clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
• Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and client relations skills.
• Great leadership and goal setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Daily Tasks Overview

Plant/Office Entrance - Open gate for trucks, greet visitors etc.

Customers manage customer information.

Orders process all incoming orders.

BOLs - Prepare documents for each shipment pull slip, packing list, order confirmation, BOL, and shipment labels.

Invoicing invoice all orders shipped/picked up daily.

Sample requests prepare Sample Request Form from salesmans information.

Quotes prepare and email quotes.

Filing file all A/R open and closed. Close out and create new files at year end.

Dropbox load any new PDBs and other needed sales materials.

Sales Register put all order information into the system.
