Intervention Specialist – Franklin, OH (NSY 2026–2027)
Position: Intervention Specialist
Location: Franklin, OH
Schedule: Full-Time
School Year: 2026–2027
We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join a school district in Franklin, OH for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time position working with a first-grade resource classroom serving students with moderate to intensive needs .
Position Details
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- End Date: May 26, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time
- Grade Level: 1st Grade
- Setting: Resource Classroom
- Student Population: Moderate to intensive needs
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
- Differentiate instruction to meet a variety of learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license
- Experience working with elementary students and moderate to intensive disabilities preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
