Join a dynamic manufacturing company as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and equipment. In this position, you'll be responsible for maintaining conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. You will also troubleshoot HVAC systems, including RTUs and pumps, and perform preventive maintenance tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Additionally, you'll be involved in general remodel and reconstruction tasks as needed, such as fixing doors, painting walls, and light plumbing duties. Your ability to document and track maintenance tasks and progress will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform HVAC troubleshooting, including RTUs and pumps.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance tasks for general facilities and equipment.
• Engage in general remodel and reconstruction tasks, such as fixing doors, painting walls, and light plumbing.
• Document and track maintenance tasks and progress.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency with mechanical disassembly and assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building maintenance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Experience with Drop Packers, Top Sealers, Palletizers, Case Erectors, and Blow Molding machines is preferred.
• Knowledge in electrical systems, including multimeters, 24v to 480v 3-phase power, electric motors, and VFDs.
• Familiarity with automation systems like photo eyes, proximity switches, and limit switches.
• Understanding of various pumps, including diaphragm, centrifugal, and displacement.
• Mechanical skills for motor alignment, bearing replacement, and reading mechanical blueprints.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing environment with production equipment and machinery. This position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 1 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
