What You'll Do

• Assist with a variety of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and endovascular procedures
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is sterile and ready for use
• Support surgical teams during case procedures, including monitoring and managing equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation through Excellian/Epic systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Uphold sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout procedures

What You Need

• Valid BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR tech experience (first-timers encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures

• Experience with EVAR, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, ECMO
• Ability to work flexible schedules including up to 2 weekends per month and holiday call

About the Assignment This position is at a short-term acute care hospital in Minneapolis, MN, with 672 beds and a strong focus on advanced cardiac, vascular, and transplant surgeries. The CVOR Tech will support high-volume surgical teams in a magnet-designated, teaching, Level III trauma center, ensuring seamless operations and optimal patient outcomes. Parking is available at a flat rate of $.55/hour.
