Job Description


Under the direction of the FRC Mechanic, assist in performing basic to technical mechanic tasks including but not limited to vacuuming and washing motorpool fleet, change/rotate tires, check brakes, replace windshield wipers, re-pack bearings, replace brake pads, perform body repair work, maintain mowers, power train repair, engine overhauls, remove and replace transmissions, fabricate components as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to get real world, hands-on mechanical experience and work with journeymen in a teaching environment.

Salary Range

Minimum Qualifications


Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units in corresponding semester. Must present appropriate documentation that establishes identity and employment authorization.
