An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations in a controlled cleanroom environment. This full-time contract role, based in Naperville, IL, requires hands-on expertise in preparing sterile IV medications following strict aseptic guidelines. Candidates should be prepared to compound a variety of sterile preparations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications, including antibiotics, hydration solutions, minibags, syringes, and other sterile products.
• Adhere strictly to proper aseptic techniques and sterile compounding procedures within a cleanroom setting.
• Label, package, and prepare medications accurately for dispensing.
• Assist with prescription filling and data entry tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanroom environment standards in compliance with USP <797> guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent, hands-on IV compounding experience is required.
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License is mandatory.
• Proven experience working in a sterile compounding cleanroom environment.
• Solid understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile preparation protocols.
• PTCB certification and Sterile Compounding Certificate preferred but not required.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM
