About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Agents/Customer Service Representative to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a great opportunity for an accomplished insurance professional with a strong background in specialty commercial insurance, including hotel/motel hospitality, retail, and other complex commercial risks.
The successful candidate will have experience managing commercial accounts, developing strong carrier relationships, and producing profitable business through exceptional underwriting and client service.
Responsibilities
- Develop, service underwritten, and manage specialty commercial insurance accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail agents, brokers, insureds, and markets
- Generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Service the full account lifecycle from submission through binding and renewal
- Analyze property, general liability, umbrella, and specialty coverage needs
- Provide creative insurance solutions for complex commercial risks
- Maintain strong knowledge of hospitality, retail, and specialty industry exposures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial insurance experience preferred
- Experience working with specialty carriers and non-standard risks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to independently manage a book of business and prioritize multiple accounts
- Strong attention to detail and underwriting judgment
