Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Consultant 4 - Contingent to join their dynamic team. As an Analytics Consultant 4 - Contingent, you will be an integral part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Analytics Consultant 4 - Contingent Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $58 What's the Job? Model and data ownership, including implementation, maintenance, and controlled change processes. Operate within governed environments requiring formal documentation, controls, and audit readiness. Challenge model assumptions and interpret outputs independently, without serving as primary model developer. Perform data analysis and validation using SQL in Teradata environments to ensure data integrity. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, issues, and insights supporting strategic business decisions. What's Needed? 7+ years of experience in analytics, model development, or related roles within financial services or risk management. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience as a model owner or developer for financial crimes or AML models. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with familiarity with big data tools and high-volume, complex datasets. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to articulate complex issues and propose solutions effectively. What's in it for me?
