Licensed Insurance Agent - Metro Detroit L.A. Insurance is seeking a motivated Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team. This role is perfect for a licensed Property & Casualty professional who enjoys building relationships, helping customers protect what matters most, and growing their career in a fast-paced agency environment. You will play a key role in helping new and existing customers secure the right insurance coverage by quoting, binding, and servicing auto insurance policies while delivering exceptional customer service. To support your success in your first year, L.A. Insurance offers a $5,000 Employment Success Bonus *, paid out in milestone based installments as you progress and meet key performance goals. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn $5,000 per month during your two-month training period , with the potential to earn $50,000 to over $100,000 annually, including commissions . You’ll receive a structured two-month training program designed to fully prepare you for the role, including product knowledge, systems training, and hands‑on support. Our leadership and corporate teams provide ongoing guidance as you build confidence, develop your skills, and grow your book of business. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Recommend customized property and auto insurance solutions based on each customer's needs. Generate accurate insurance quotes and bind coverage efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of L.A. Insurance products, services, and underwriting guidelines. Build relationships within the local community to support agency growth and customer retention. Requirements Active Property & Casualty License in the State of Michigan. Proven success in sales or experience in a customer‑facing environment. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑first mindset. A goal‑oriented, proactive team player who takes initiative and enjoys helping others. Opportunity to earn $5,000 per month during your two-month training period.
