Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a position in the Operating Room (OR) specialty located in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a fast-paced Level II Trauma OR environment, serving a diverse patient population. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada State Registered Nurse license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (Monday: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM; Tuesday: 6:45 AM 3:15 PM; Wednesday: 6:45 AM 3:15 PM; Thursday: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM)
• Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Required Qualifications: Nevada State RN license prior to start, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 2 years of experience in Trauma Operating Room setting, CMP (Critical Medical Procedures) certification completed within 1 year of start date
• Additional Information: This position involves working within a high-volume trauma center performing a variety of procedures, including neurosurgery, spinal fusions, robotic surgeries, urology, vascular, open-heart, trauma orthopedic, pediatrics, plastics, and ENT. The RN will provide patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, ensuring safe and effective outcomes. The role requires assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care with coordination among multidisciplinary teams. The facility is a highly dynamic environment with an emphasis on rapid responses to complex medical situations and providing top-tier care.
