Medical Assistant – Concierge Medicine

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join a concierge medicine practice. This role is primarily back office focused and works closely with the physician to deliver a seamless, high-touch patient experience. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional support to the physician and concierge care team
• Room patients, obtain accurate vital signs, and assist with blood draws/specimen collection
• Collect, document, and update patient medical information within the EMR
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience
• Schedule referrals, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage ongoing patient communication
• Conduct proactive outreach to confirm appointments, relay updates, and support patient satisfaction
• Collaborate closely with providers and team members to maintain an organized, welcoming, and service-oriented practice environment
• Support accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Assist with maintaining efficient clinical workflows and high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Medical Assistant back office experience required
• Current Medical Assistant certification required
• Strong phlebotomy/blood draw experience preferred, or willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in private practice or concierge medicine (preferred)
• EMR experience required; eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience (strongly preferred)
• Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay

• $27 - $28 / hour depending on experience
