Summer Accounting Intern 2024

We are seeking a hardworking, driven individual to join the accounting team on a fulltime basis for the summer of 2024. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with several teams within the company and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic accounting function. An ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have the ability to work both independently and with others. If this sounds like you, we want to speak to you! We are open to all industry experience.

You will take on the following responsibilities:

• Support month-end close process, including reconciliations and invoicing
• Contribute to annual audit of financial documents and internal audit review
• Prepare cash reconciliation and support payment review
• Responsible for the accounts payable function
• Work with various teams across the firm to ensure accurate reporting and to assist with ad hoc project work
• Provide support for finance efforts to increase efficiency and make valuable contributions to business partners

You should possess the following qualifications:

• Years: 3-10 years
• Bachelor’s or graduate program in accounting and/or related field
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills required
• Self-awareness, maturity and irreproachable integrity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
