Electronic Assembler II

Description Position Summary: Work at assembler station, using hand tools and solder irons, soldering parts and shields, mechanical assembly and wire prep as directed by Lead or Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: Must demonstrate the ability to inspect and touch up their own work. Must have good attendance. Must demonstrate the ability to do Board Assembly Touch Up. Must demonstrate the ability to do SMD soldering to an 805-package level as well as IC’s to a 50-mil pitch. Must demonstrate the ability to make rate and meet current specified workmanship standards within two (2) days. Good teamwork skills. Ability to understand and follow work processes. Requirements Knowledge & Skills: Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Able to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications: Work Experience Requirement 2 or more years soldering SMD experience Educational Requirement High school diploma or equivalent Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Work typically takes place in a normal manufacturing environment requiring: Sitting, walking, lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and seeing Environment conditions; noise, vibration, oils, solvents, chemicals BK Technologies is a provider of advanced public safety communications solutions and remains deeply rooted in the critical communications industry for military, first responders, and public safety heroes.
