It is also how Concord started. Our founder previously built and exited multiple companies comprising a vertically integrated real estate platform. When that chapter ended, the team chose to come back together. That team is what drove our immediate success: $500M in development within 20 months of inception.

Concord is new, but the executive team is not. We have scaled multiple companies across construction, management, maintenance, leasing and development, and have been named among the fastest growing private companies in the country multiple times. Everything is in house, all under one roof. We don't just own property, we operate it ourselves.

We are one of the most active players in the middle market, with committed capital, a live development pipeline and a target to reach a $1B in development in the next 18 months. 

THE ROLE

This is the seat for a true operator. As Director of Operations, you will work directly with the CEO and an executive team that has built and scaled this playbook before, and you will help build the operating system for the next stage of growth.

We need someone who is both a thinker and a doer. You will set the big picture on how Concord runs, and you will also roll up your sleeves in the weekly meetings and the work itself while we scale. Over time the mix shifts toward strategy as the team and systems you build take on the day to day.

We have scaled companies like this before, and we are not looking for someone to simply run our playbook. We want someone who will challenge us with better ideas, especially on AI and process. If you see a smarter way to run something, we want to hear it, and we want you to build it.

You will own how Concord runs as one company, find and fix process problems, own the scorecard that drives accountability, and build the team that executes our business plan. You will play a major role in protecting the culture that got us here as we grow.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Recruiting, Talent Development and Onboarding: Lead recruiting across the company, from job postings to offers, and hire for the cohesive, team first culture we protect. Own onboarding and training, role definitions and scorecards, compensation structure and the employee review process, so every new hire is set up to succeed and grow.

Process, Systems and Accountability: Own the weekly company scorecard and the KPIs behind our goals. Find and fix process and efficiency issues across the business, build SOPs, and own our technology roadmap and AI adoption.

Project Execution: Run integrated project meetings with the CEO and principals and hold every project to its business plan. Along with helping project in preconstruction as it moves through the diligence stages up to project execution.

Cross Company Coordination: Our model only works if the handoffs are seamless. Acquisitions, development, construction, maintenance, leasing, property management and accounting all run as separate functions under one roof, and every project moves through each of them. You will be the quarterback who makes sure nothing falls between them. You will align handoffs, service expectations and one operating rhythm, and run the annual operating plan and planning cadence.

Vendor, Risk and Compliance: Manage vendor and service agreements, company policies, fair housing and licensing compliance, and business continuity.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 10+ years in real estate operations, construction or property management

• Proven experience recruiting, hiring, developing and managing managers

• Experience running a performance review process and working with HR practices

• A track record building processes and systems, with an emphasis on technology: selecting, implementing and automating the tools that run the business

• Experience coordinating across multiple functions or business lines

• Knowledge of relevant real estate laws, regulations and quality standards

• Comfortable using AI tools daily and able to validate output rather than take it at face value

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Base salary range of $125,000 to $200,000

• Annual bonus opportunity based on company and individual performance

• Approximately 10 paid company holidays

• Ability to invest in Concord Capital real estate investments.
