Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where a diverse team of healthcare professionals collaborates seamlessly to deliver exceptional care. This full-time position entails 40 hours per week, including variable weekends, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to our patients’ needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations to assess patients' orthopedic conditions, developing customized treatment plans based on individual evaluation results.
• Consult with other healthcare providers and collaborate within the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care and adherence to best practices.
• Implement treatment plans, continuously monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to therapies to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all evaluations, treatments, and discharge plans in compliance with all legal and professional standards, while maintaining accuracy in billing procedures.
• Supervise assigned support staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to organizational protocols.
• Engage in leadership functions, including community outreach and continuous quality improvement initiatives, to promote our services and enhance departmental performance.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and commit to ongoing professional development through in-services and continuing education programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work primarily with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with a diverse client population, requiring the ability to communicate effectively across various age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that every patient receives respectful and individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation practices.
