Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the physical therapy treatment procedures aimed at preventing disabilities and relieving pain while developing and restoring muscle function as per individual care plans.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the accurate implementation of therapy protocols.
• Evaluate patients’ functional levels utilizing diagnostic assessments to inform treatment decisions and care modifications.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions and environmental contexts to maximize patient independence while facilitating home environment evaluations.
• Deliver direct physical therapy services in patient homes in accordance with physician orders, ensuring continuity of care.
• Administer various physical treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and physical agents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in care planning, updating treatment protocols, and engaging in case conferences to enhance patient care delivery.
• Document patient progress through detailed clinical records and submit necessary evaluative reports for team review.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapy protocols, device usage, and overall rehabilitation strategies.
• Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to further the goals and objectives of the organization.

Your focus will primarily be on adults seeking recovery from surgery, injury, chronic pain, or mobility limitations. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in acute care or home health environments. Previous leadership roles or experience in managing therapy assistants will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
