Junior Litigation Paralegal

Highly respected mid-size law firm has an immediate need for a Junior Paralegal to join their growing litigation team. This position is ideal for those seeking to establish a career in the legal field in Century City, Los Angeles. Junior and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those with prior litigation exposure through internships, clinics, or law firm experience. The position provides hands-on training, mentorship, and the potential to develop into a long-term role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys and senior paralegals with day-to-day case management.
• Assist with drafting, preparing, and filing legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Perform state and federal court filings and coordinate service of process.
• Calendar deadlines and track litigation timelines to ensure compliance with court rules.
• Organize, maintain, and update electronic and physical case files.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Handle general administrative support related to active litigation matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (Paralegal Certificate is a plus).
• Litigation experience required - internships, externships, or entry-level law firm experience acceptable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal software or case management systems preferred.
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

• This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent placement.

• Must be available full-time, Monday-Friday onsite in Century City.
• Hourly rate range of $23 - $26/hour, based on level of prior litigation experience
