Junior Associate Attorney

Compensation: $135,000 to $175,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus bonus potential We’re partnered with a boutique, multi-practice litigation firm in Los Angeles seeking an Associate Attorney to support a busy and growing civil litigation practice. This role is a great fit for an attorney early in their career who wants hands‑on litigation experience, direct mentorship, and the opportunity to work on a variety of sophisticated civil litigation matters. The Associate Attorney will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitration, and trial preparation. What You’ll Need At least 1+ year of civil litigation experience in a law firm setting JD and active California Bar admission in good standing Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Experience with discovery, drafting motions, and court appearances Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively Interest in growing long term within a boutique litigation environment Bonus Points if You Have Experience with complex civil litigation, business disputes, real estate disputes, or other civil defense matters Experience in state and federal court Deposition, mediation, arbitration, or trial preparation experience Strong academic credentials from a well‑regarded law school What’s in it for you Competitive compensation in the $135,000 to $175,000 base range, depending on experience, plus bonus potential Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office per week Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits Paid time off, sick leave, floating holiday, and firm‑observed paid holidays Laptop and home office equipment provided Collaborative boutique firm environment with direct partner mentorship #J-18808-Ljbffr
