RN - Unit Manager

Title Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Manager – NICU Schedule Full‑time evening shift (2 PM-10 PM) with some flexibility; potential for 4–10 hour shifts. Requirements BSN required. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare. Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in an acute care setting. Specialty certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license. BLS; ACLS preferred. NRP preferred; RNC‑OB preferred. Roles & Responsibilities Ensure high quality, patient‑centered care through oversight of daily functions and staffing of the NICU. Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. Support efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice and improve efficiency and effectiveness. Facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments. Provide leadership in attaining and sustaining a superior patient experience.
