As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies and post orders.
• Support law enforcement, first responders, and/or site leadership during emergencies, investigations, evacuations, and other security-related events while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
