Requirements

• Required certification: CVICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred 2. Cases: Cardiovascular ICU patients including CABG, valve repair, TAVR, heart/lung transplant, VAD implantation, ECMO, aortic repairs 3. Certifications: BLS/ACLS required, NIHSS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A, 36 hours, no call, up to 6 weekend shifts per 4 week period, minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule block 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract, one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility, current employees ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate, previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start, urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: ECMO, CRRT, Swan Ganz monitoring, IABP, Impella, ventilators, temporary pacemakers, chest tubes Critical: Patient ratio 1:1-2, float required within units, 36-hour orientation, 2 professional references required with at least 1 from manager/director.
