Job Description

MidCity Chicken & Po'boys is seeking a dependable, hardworking cook to join our team. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain food quality, and help support daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards
• Operate fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely
• Complete food prep and stocking duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Follow food safety procedures
• Work well with team members during busy shifts
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Qualifications:
• Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and attendance
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Weekend availability is a plus

Compensation:
• Starting at $14 per hour
• Shared tip pool
• Opportunities for growth and increased responsibility based on performance

Schedule:
• Part-time or Full-time available
• Flexible scheduling based on business needs
