About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Emergency Department License: TN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: 1 year of experience with EPIC Description: Shifts are 3x12 Nights from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend but may change based on need. Experience with Omnicell medication system is preferred. Documentation system experience required includes EPIC. Charges and patient ratios will be as per unit policies. Floating to other units may be required based on need. Travelers with a minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience will be considered. Experience in managing various emergency situations is essential. Candidates must have experience in charting with EPIC. Completing required pre-assignment testing and modules is necessary within stipulated timeframes. Travelers must float to other units and/or campuses per request. Candidates with demonstrated competencies will only float to units they are qualified for. Experience must cover a variety of emergency cases and interventions.
