General Cleaner Department: Housekeeping Employment Type: Part Time Location: Mountain View, California Compensation: $23.50 / hour Description A General Cleaner keeps the hotel's shared spaces as polished as its guest rooms — from restrooms and public areas to banquet and meeting rooms — while lending a hand wherever guests need it, all in service of an outstanding stay. Key Responsibilities Cleans designated areas including restrooms, public spaces, offices, and banquet, meeting, and conference rooms Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures; vacuums, mops, sweeps, and shampoos carpets as needed Washes windows, cleans and waxes floors, and removes and disposes of trash Greets guests in a friendly, welcoming manner Reports maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair Stocks and maintains supply rooms as needed Performs deep-cleaning tasks and special projects, such as mattress flipping and furniture moves, Delivers guest requests and assists with cleaning guest rooms as needed Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Cleaning experience Strong customer service skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities Highly responsible and reliable Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) including Sick Hours 401(k) retirement plan, effective from date of hire Hotel and F&B outlet discounts Referral bonus program #J-18808-Ljbffr Theameswellhotel
