The facility maintains coordinated care across clinical and support teams designed to promote quality patient outcomes. Hospital privileges are required for this position. About the Facility Location Albert Lea, Minnesota offers a range of outdoor activities, including boating, fishing, camping, biking, and kayaking, with Myre-Big Island State Park serving as a destination for nature enthusiasts. Visitors may also explore local history at the History Center of Freeborn County or take in scenic views aboard the Pelican Breeze, a 60-foot pontoon tour and dinner boat. The area provides additional leisure options through parks, a cinema, and fairgrounds. About the Clinician's Workday The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 14-16 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing hematologic and oncologic conditions in an outpatient setting. Call coverage follows a rotating 1:3 schedule, and hospital privileges are required for this position. Clinicians must maintain documentation through the Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
