Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member
Position Overview
Patti Grooms State Farm is hiring a full-time Account Associate in Irmo, SC for someone who wants to build a long-term career in insurance. This is an in-office role with hands-on training and coaching from a local agency team that values consistency, reliability, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Call prospective customers, explain their coverage choices, and follow through to bind new policies
- Schedule meetings and walk potential customers through each step of the sale
- Keep your activity log and sales pipeline current in the agency database
- Deliver on outreach quotas and monthly sales benchmarks
- Attend training sessions and work through licensing coursework

- An engaging phone manner and the ability to communicate with confidence
- Driven to keep outreach going day after day without being told
- Open to completing the licensing the position calls for
- A positive teammate who takes coaching well

Pay range: $50,000-$60,000 per year
The figure shown is total compensation (base salary, commission, and bonus). Pay rises with your results, and our strongest team members earn above this range.
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Qualifications to be employees of a State Farm agent are established by each independent contractor agent. By applying/accepting a position with an independent contractor agent, you are not promised, guaranteed, or given a special preference in the selection process to become an independent contractor agent for the State Farm Insurance Companies.
