Quality Manager

Quality ManagerG&W Electric Co., a global leader in power grid solutions, is seeking a Quality Manager to drive product and process excellence in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will own the quality management system, lead audits, and monitor key metrics to ensure safe, reliable switching and protection products. You will guide root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects in collaboration with engineering, operations, and suppliers. This position offers the opportunity to impact grid reliability while developing technically and professionally in a supportive, team-oriented culture.ResponsibilitiesLead implementation and maintenance of plant-wide quality management systemsDevelop and monitor quality KPIs, driving corrective and preventive actionsConduct root cause analysis and lead cross-functional problem-solvingManage audits, compliance, and customer quality requirementsOversee inspection, testing, and documentation standardsCoach teams on quality tools, standards, and continuous improvementPartner with engineering and operations to improve process capabilitySupport supplier quality and incoming material controlRequired SkillsQuality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)Statistical process control (SPC)Root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone)Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Lean manufacturing and continuous improvementMeasurement systems and inspection techniquesInternal and external auditingSupplier quality managementManufacturing process knowledge (electrical/mechanical)Data analysis and quality reporting
