Job Description

ALL STAR CONSTRUCTION is hiring a motivated, reliable Full-Time Home Improvement Salesperson to generate new business, meet with homeowners, and close sales for residential remodeling and construction projects.

We specialize in kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, ADU construction, garage conversions, room additions, home renovations, and new construction.

You are expected to generate your own qualified leads, meet with homeowners, and close signed project contracts. Company-provided leads may be available but are not guaranteed. For now, you will work from home when not attending client appointments. You must travel to meet homeowners and clients in person throughout Orange County, including project-site visits as needed. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, sales experience, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Actively find and develop your own qualified leads and sales opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and outreach.
• Follow up on company-provided leads when available, while independently building and managing your own sales pipeline.
• Schedule appointments and meet homeowners to discuss their construction projects.
• Present company-approved estimates and proposals.
• Manage the sales process from initial lead generation and customer follow-up through closing signed project contracts.
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up notes.
• Coordinate with the company owner regarding pricing, discounts, project scope, and scheduling.
• Develop customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Meet company sales goals and performance expectations.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold active California CSLB Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) registration at the time of application.
• Previous experience in home improvement, remodeling, construction, or related sales preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation for customer appointments. Employees provide their own work equipment for working from home.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple leads.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Basic computer and customer relationship management (CRM) skills preferred.

Sales expectations

• Month 1: $50,000 in signed project contracts
• Month 2: $100,000 in signed project contracts
• Month 3: $150,000 in signed project contracts
• Month 4 onward: $150,000 per month in signed project contracts

Month 1 begins on your hire date. Each subsequent month is the next monthly period measured from that date. These are individual monthly targets, not cumulative totals. Canceled contracts do not count toward monthly sales targets. Sales counted toward monthly targets will reflect the revised contract value if the project price changes. Performance will be reviewed based on self-generated and company-provided qualified leads, project sizes, and sales-cycle timing.

Schedule and Compensation

• Employment: Full-Time. Regular schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid lunch break each day (40 paid hours per week).
• Base Pay: $20 per hour.
• Commission: Additional 3% of qualifying project sale prices.
• Commission applies to eligible self-generated and company-provided leads under a written commission agreement.
• Canceled contracts are not eligible for sales commission, subject to the written commission agreement and applicable law. The company office handles commission calculations and processing through payroll. Eligible commission will be paid through payroll after the applicable cancellation period stated in the customer's contract has expired without cancellation and the customer's full project payment has cleared into the company's bank account, in accordance with the written commission agreement and applicable law.
• The company reimburses required business travel expenses, including mileage for client appointments, parking, and tolls, under company policy and applicable law. Other required business expenses are reimbursed under company policy and applicable law. Employees must submit a weekly mileage log for required business travel, along with receipts for parking, tolls, and other business travel expenses. Send submissions to the company office for review and reimbursement under company policy and applicable law.
• Paid sick leave and other legally required benefits.

Earning Potential

• Estimated annual base earnings: Approximately $41,600 annually , assuming 40 paid hours per week for 52 weeks at $20 per hour. Actual base earnings depend on hours worked. This estimate excludes commission and overtime.
• Additional uncapped commission opportunities based on qualifying sales.
• Illustrative example: 3% of a $50,000 qualifying project sale price is $1,500 in commission . Commission eligibility, when it is earned, and payment timing are governed by the written commission agreement.
