Shippenville Nursing and Rehab is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team full-time.
This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in a supportive Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) environment while helping residents improve their mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life.

Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Accurately and timely document treatments and resident progress using Net Health
Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive SNF/LTC setting
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current or eligible Pennsylvania PTA license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
SNF/LTC experience is a plus, but not required
