Traveling Mechanical & Electrical Assembler
FlexTrades is seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers for manufacturing projects across the United States. We are looking for skilled professionals with at least 5 years of consistent assembly experience in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, automation, or heavy equipment environments.
All work is performed in clean, indoor production facilities.
Pay & Schedule
- $28-$31 per hour
- 50+ hours per week
- Overtime paid at time-and-a-half
- Strong weekly earning potential
Travel & Benefits
- Company-paid travel to and from assignments
- Company-provided lodging (private hotel room)
- $45/day per diem

Position Details
Job Title: Traveling Mechanical & Electrical Assembler

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, reading blueprints, assembling complex equipment, and traveling to support manufacturing projects nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints and work instructions
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly documentation
- Install and connect wiring, sensors, motors, control panels, and mechanical components
- Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and adjustment of equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain quality standards and meet production goals
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of consistent mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience assembling machinery, automation equipment, industrial equipment, or production systems preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working overtime and traveling for project-based assignments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance available when needed
