Overview Registered Nurse – Infection Prevention Specialist in Roseville, California, starting 06/01/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Write and update infection prevention policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards from The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other national guidelines. Apply hospital epidemiology principles to monitor HAIs, including data collection, interpretation and dissemination of results to inform practice and policy. Conduct initial assessment and maintain records related to work injuries and illnesses; coordinate with Human Resources to ensure completion of employee health screenings, annual immunization updates, and workers’ compensation reporting. Collaborate with Human Resources and front-line staff to support infection prevention education, surveillance reporting, and timely policy implementation across the care setting.
