Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required
- AHA-PALS: Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
- At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and analyze data to determine care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans with prescribed interventions aimed at achieving desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
