Weekly pay: $2,057–$2,132 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in the OR for a patient or group of patients, following the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Coordinate perioperative care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members; monitor patient status and respond to changes.
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered; document care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EPIC).
- Develop and execute an individualized plan of care, evaluate progress, and adjust as needed; participate in discharge planning as appropriate.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks and ensure safe, efficient care delivery.
- Provide education to patients and families; communicate treatment plans and expectations clearly to the treatment team.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Unencumbered RN license in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; CPR certification per AH policy as required.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience; operating room or acute care experience preferred.
- Special requirements: Must have EPIC electronic medical record experience; Day shift availability; able to participate in call: five times in a six-week period, including weekends.
