Registered Nurse ICU

ICU Nurse Position

Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, adhering to established standards and protocols. Oversees and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective care delivery and supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assess critically ill patients by collecting relevant health data and analyzing clinical information.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address acute patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and health management.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
• Demonstrate critical care or ICU nursing experience.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Have excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
