Quality Control TechnicianOur Reading area client is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician with electronics experience for their core team! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a local company!Pay: $22.00- $28.00/hr depending on experienceBenefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more!Shift: 1st shift Monday through Friday (7am-3:30pm)Location: Reading, PAResponsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:Inspection of incoming parts and completing first article inspections, Final QC InspectionsReview quality and quantity of finished productKnowledge and experience with both surface mount technology and through hole soldering techniquesReading and understanding electronic schematicsDocumenting data in Excel, Microsoft officeCommunicating defects and issues to SupervisorQualifications of the Quality Control Technician:Knowledge of and experience with surface mount and thru-hole soldering is requiredAt least 2 years of experience with Electronics Quality ControlWorking knowledge of computers and basic skill with Excel, Word, and OutlookFamiliarity with IPC standards of the electronics industry is a plusFamiliarity with reading and drawing electronic schematics is a plusExcellent organizational and reasoning skillsAble to work well with others and possess excellent communication skillsDetail oriented and able to concentrate at a high levelThis is a Direct Hitr career opportunity with a leading electronics company in Reading who offers room for advancement!
