Summary: We are seeking a Laser Operator to become an integral part of our team. Laser operators perform task that are essential to our production processes.
Reporting to: Operations Supervisor
Essential Functions:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work procedures.
* Ability to produce quality parts that meet company/customer specifications
* Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.
* Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.
* Ability to follow daily schedules and meet production goals.
* Follow industry and company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.
* Effectively communicates any issues affecting production to the team lead or supervisor
* Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. Activities include lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a regular basis.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Perform adjustments on laser as needed.
* Perform required preventative maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Have strong math skills, including fractions and decimals
* Possess mechanical aptitude required for assisting in tool replacements
* Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
* Have basic computer skills
* Have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
* Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
* Be able to lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis. Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
* Proficiency with hand tools.
* Able to communicate well with others.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination.
* Great attention to detail.
* Great Attitude, Energy, Effort, and Attendance
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Minimum of 1-3 Years' Laser experience in a manufacturing company.
