Assistant Project Manager

Overview: A general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support a residential/mixed-use project in North Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can help drive documentation, coordination, and procurement while supporting both the project office and field team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support PM and field team with submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and procurement tracking Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, changes, permits, inspections, and closeout items Assist with buyout processes, scope comparisons, and cost documentation Coordinate with accounting, subcontractors, and internal teams on contracts and pay applications Support punch, closeout, O&M documentation, and turnover readiness Qualifications Experience as a Project Engineer, APM, or Project Coordinator with a GC/CM Exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial vertical construction Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why This Role Matters This role plays a key part in keeping project controls, documentation, and coordination on track—critical to maintaining pace and ensuring a smooth path toward project delivery.
