Oncology Account Specialist- Lung Cancer - Denver, CO/New Mexico

AstraZeneca seeks an Oncology Account Specialist focused on lung cancer in Denver to engage healthcare providers through clinical selling, account planning, and multidisciplinary stakeholder management. The role involves educating providers on treatment options, building customer relationships, and executing territory-level business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage account plans identifying decision-drivers, priorities, and opportunities across the patient journey
- Engage multi-disciplinary healthcare providers through in-person and virtual channels on treatment efficacy, safety, dosing, and biomarkers
- Educate physicians on FDA-approved indications, companion diagnostics, and unmet clinical needs aligned to approved medicines
- Identify key account stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional engagement plans with internal team and peer specialists
- Provide territory-level insights to inform geography priorities and connect customer needs with internal functional experts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record
- 3+ years sales or commercial experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industry
- Demonstrated clinical selling skills and business acumen in complex environments
- Ability to learn, analyze, and communicate complex clinical information
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- 2+ years oncology sales experience in lung cancer preferred
