Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVICU

Location

Allentown, PA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a CVICU setting with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 3:1 for an adult population
• Float within the critical care unit as required
• Document all patient care activities using EPIC
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation schedules (every other weekend and every other holiday)
• Participate in orientation modules as scheduled; no on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
• PA Fingerprints required; must be completed within 1 week of contract signing
• Pass/Fail clinical competency exam required for clearance (maximum 3 attempts)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical Care Float Pool experience
• Experience in a Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I facility
