Behavioral Health Technician Lead

Under a passionate leadership team and committed support staff, we assist our clients in reclaiming freedom. We are currently seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to collaborate with our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and guide our clients in their recovery journey. Pay: $16/hr Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00PM - 11:00PM Responsibilities: Assist with the intake process for new clients into the program. Communicate with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, responsible for detailed client logs. Listen to clients concerning all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention. Coordinate activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings. Conduct mandatory bed checks as required per department and complete the bed-check sheet for shift reporting. Attend shift change, team meetings, and company meetings. Ensure the client schedule is being followed daily. Assist with interventions with clients. Follow objectives of treatment plans. Monitor medication line. Transport clients to meetings and recreation. Conduct searches of clients when they return to the facility. Monitor treatment for necessary hygiene and medical needs. Uphold Therapeutic Boundaries and Staff Code of Ethics. Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide input. Distribute client snacks as needed. Train new staff on unit, program, and milieu. Help with upkeep of the facility. Assist clients with obtaining a sponsor. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health. Experience facilitating process groups and family sessions.
