DescriptionSummaryThe Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of systems while supporting business-critical operations.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure, including on-prem servers, cloud platforms, and SaaS systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliabilityMonitor system health across hybrid environments using enterprise monitoring and observability tools; proactively identify and resolve issues before business impactRespond to alerts related to hardware, software, cloud services, and SaaS platforms that are experiencing failures, ensuring timely resolution within SLAsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by users, applications, and monitoring systems across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environmentsInstall, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, as well as cloud-based infrastructure and services, in accordance with standards and operational requirementsAdminister and support SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 and other business applications), including configuration, access management, and issue resolutionPerform ongoing security monitoring across infrastructure, cloud, and SaaS platforms, including identity systems and access controlsPerform and validate backup and disaster recovery operations across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring data integrity and adherence to retention policiesRecommend and implement improvements to systems, network configurations, and hybrid architecture, including cloud adoption and SaaS optimizationAssist the Service Desk team on escalated tickets pertaining to servers, network, storage, cloud services, SaaS platforms, and remote sitesDocument processes and procedures for routine operations and newly developed workflows across hybrid environmentsManage IT infrastructure and cloud projects end-to-end, including planning, vendor coordination, scheduling, implementation, and testingParticipate in patch management, capacity planning, and lifecycle management of infrastructure and cloud resourcesPerform other job duties as required by ManagementRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)8 -10 years of experience working in infrastructure engineering or a similar roleExperience with hybrid environments integrating on-prem and cloud infrastructureStrong experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Omnissa Horizon, Hyper-V, Azure, AVD)Strong understanding of enterprise storage solutions (SAN, Dell Unity/PowerScale, Isilon/PowerStore) Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS access portal, AWS IAM Identity Center, AWS Control Tower Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCPExperience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 (Office 365) environmentsExperience administering SaaS platforms and enterprise cloud applicationsExperience with identity and access management solutions (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO, MFA)Working knowledge of switching and routing using Cisco CLIDesign, implement, and support enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including networking, security, connectivity, and platform services across on-premises and cloud environmentsExperience with backup solutions such as Veeam, CohesityWorking knowledge of Linux, Unix, and/or macOS systemsExperience with endpoint and device management tools (e.g., Intune, MDM solutions) is a plusBenefitsThe starting pay range for this position is $112,000 - $120,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.In addition to a comprehensive package of health benefits that include company contributions, RAVE Aerospace offers a variety of additional benefits and perks to enhance your work-life balance experience including but not limited to:A home allowance to elevate your home workspaceDiscretionary bonus programFuture financial security with a 401(k) program with a company matchPaid time off covering vacations, personal time off, and sick days, capped off by an exciting year-end holiday shutdownEmbraced flexibility with our alternative work schedule (9/80) to navigate your workweeks with every other Friday offJob SummaryID: 632ACF23BFDepartment:Type: full time
