We're looking for a Finance Consultant to support our clients through financial analysis, planning, and advisory work that drives clarity, confidence, and smart decision-making.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, client collaboration, and helping organizations improve how they understand and use their financial information.What You'll DoAs a Finance Consultant, you'll work closely with client leadership teams to assess financial processes, analyze performance, and provide actionable recommendations. You'll support a range of engagements, from budgeting and forecasting to process improvement and financial strategy, while collaborating internally to deliver high-quality consulting services.ResponsibilitiesClient Financial AdvisoryPartner with clients to understand financial goals, challenges, and prioritiesAnalyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesTranslate financial data into clear, actionable insights for client leadershipPlanning, Analysis & Process ImprovementSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning effortsAssist with financial modeling and scenario analysisEvaluate financial processes and recommend improvements to support accuracy, efficiency, and scalabilityEngagement & CollaborationContribute to client engagements by preparing reports, analyses, and client-ready materialsCommunicate effectively with client stakeholders and internal team membersSupport consistent service delivery across multiple clients or projectsContinuous ImprovementContribute to shared tools, templates, and best practices for finance consulting servicesStay current on financial trends and best practices relevant to our clientsPerform other related duties as assignedWho You AreAnalytical, curious, and solutions-orientedComfortable working across multiple clients or projectsA clear communicator who enjoys translating numbers into insightsOrganized, dependable, and proactiveMotivated by helping organizations improve and growEducation & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required3–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or a related roleExperience in financial analysis, budgeting, or advisory work preferredExperience in school district finance preferredStrong Excel and financial modeling skillsFamiliarity with financial reporting and accounting conceptsExperience working with clients or stakeholders preferredMust successfully complete a background and reference checkPerks & BenefitsPay Range: $90,000-$110,000 depending on experienceAs a full-time employee, you will have access to the following benefits:Health, dental, and disability insurance401(k) with company contributionsFlexible schedulePaid time off + paid holidaysLocation: Remote/HybridWe're Better Together.At CESO, we believe great consulting starts with strong relationships and trust.
