Registered Nurse (RN) - LDR

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) unit. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This position will involve working nights and floating to the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit as needed.

Scheduled Details

• Shift: Nights from 18:45 to 07:15
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required in rotation

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of LDR experience is required.
• Willingness to float to MS unit and care for pediatric patients is essential.

Experience Preferred

• 3+ years of LDR experience in a rural hospital setting.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
• EPIC experience is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements

• Active RN license.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Completion of an intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring class within the past 24 months.
• Commitment to obtaining PALS certification prior to starting is mandatory.

Floating and Weekend Requirements

• Floating to the MS unit may be required for overflow patients.
• Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

Client Specific Notes

• This is a nicotine-free facility.
• Orientation will be conducted virtually on Monday.
• Staff must remain available if census levels are low, in which case, being home is considered on-call, compensated at an on-call rate.
• Two shifts per month may be canceled at no cost to the staffing agency, provided a minimum 2-hour notice is given.
