Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 Weekly Guaranteed Hours | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups on a 32-bed Cardiac/Med-Surg unit
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Maintain professional accountability for provision of care and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers
• Perform drug titration and operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, telemetry monitors, and lift equipment
• Float on a rotational basis as required by the unit
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in Missouri or hold an active Missouri RN license
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Telemetry experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• 4 trauma credits required (must be completed within the first two weeks of assignment if not already obtained)
• NIHSS certification required prior to start (may be submitted without, but must be obtained before beginning)
• Demonstrated experience and competence in drug titration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Additional Cardiac Telemetry experience beyond the minimum requirement
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
