Job Description:

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support for computer hardware, software, and end-user devices. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of an IT support team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, and operating system issues.

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

• Provide technical assistance to end users and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.

• Diagnose and resolve basic connectivity, application, and system-related problems.

• Document technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions as required.

• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT support teams.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain reliable IT operations.

• Deliver professional and customer-focused technical support.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with computer hardware and software troubleshooting.

• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to work on-site in Columbus, OH.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CompTIA A+ certification or another relevant CompTIA certification.

• Previous experience in desktop support, help desk, service desk, or IT support.

• Strong customer service and end-user support skills.

• Experience with IT ticketing systems and technical documentation.
