TreasurerA. O. Smith Corporation, a global leader in water heating and water treatment solutions, is seeking an experienced and strategic Treasurer to lead the Company's global treasury function. Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate FP&A, the Treasurer is responsible for liquidity management, capital structure planning, banking relationships, investments, pension oversight, financial risk management, insurance programs, and treasury operations. The role also leads enterprise working capital and cash optimization initiatives that enhance free cash flow, balance sheet efficiency, and shareholder value creation. As a key member of the finance leadership team, the Treasurer partners with business and functional leaders to support capital allocation decisions, strategic investments, acquisitions, financing activities, and enterprise growth initiatives while ensuring strong financial discipline, risk management, and operational execution.Responsibilities include:Treasury Leadership & Liquidity ManagementWorking Capital Strategy & Cash OptimizationCapital Structure & FinancingFinancial Risk Management, Insurance & GovernanceQualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, 12+ years of progressive finance experience, and significant treasury leadership responsibilities.We offer a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits plans which include medical and dental insurance, company-sponsored life insurance, retirement security savings plan, short- and long-term disability programs and tuition assistance.
